About

About the palace

Storypalace Books is a small independent publisher of children's books. Its home, as you may already have guessed, is a rather magnificent and magical palace. Each wing holds books for a different stage of reading, from picture books read on a lap, right through to 'can't put down' stories read alone under the covers.

What we publish

Picture books for the youngest listeners, short chapter books with big print and illustrations for read-aloud storytime or confident new readers, Middle Grade Fiction, and Cozy reads for grown ups. Every title is available as a printed book, and many as a flipbook that can be read on a screen straight away. Separate ebooks and audiobook editions are also usually available for all of our publications except picture books.

How the books are made

Print books are produced to order by international book printers Bookvault and posted directly to you from the UK, US or Canada. Nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is pulped, which helps the environment and keeps a small list like ours possible. All other formats appear thanks to the tireless efforts of our mysterious magical tech fairies!
